As a result, there will be a road closure on South State Drive from the Towers leading to the Student Services Building on Friday, 1/5/24 from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

For larger vehicles, we recommend using an alternate route via the North State Drive back road towards Tapia Street, as indicated on the attached map.

Campus & Housing - Water Outage

Posted January 4, 2024 @ 12:38 p.m.:

Facilities has received multiple reports of an outage affecting hot and cold water to several buildings on campus and housing.  This unexpected issue is not the result of a planned water outage by Facilities or Capital Planning Design and Construction. After further investigation, this issue stems from an undetermined water supply problem originating from the city water feed to the campus.

To address this matter promptly, Facilities has contacted the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) for resolution.  We will provide further updates as soon as additional information becomes available.

For any inquiries or assistance, please contact the Facilities Services desk at Facilities@sfsu.edu or 415-338-1568.
