Construction Notice: HVAC Demolition – Student Services Building (T103)
Posted March 13, 2026 @ 8:26 a.m.
Facilities Services is coordinating with our contracted vendor, Eternal Construction, and subcontractor Market Mechanical, who will be on site to perform HVAC demolition work in the 1st-floor Women’s Restroom (T103) of the Student Services Building. Demolition work will take place Monday, March 23 through Monday, March 30, 2026, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day.
This phase of work includes the demolition of existing HVAC equipment within the women’s restroom. No utilities, including central heating, will be impacted during this work.
Intermittent noise should be expected. The most noticeable noise will occur between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. to help limit the impact to building occupants.
- All other restrooms in the building will remain open and may be used as alternate options.
The work is scheduled during Spring Break to take advantage of reduced building occupancy and to help minimize the duration of a future closure currently anticipated for the week of May 25, 2026 (dates and duration to be confirmed).
We ask the campus community to use caution around the work area and follow all posted signage.
If you have questions regarding this project, please contact Facilities Project Manager Victor Osorio Martinez at vosoriom@sfsu.edu.
